If 3D printers are anything like cars, it'd be best to use it occasionally but sparingly. It'd suck so bad finding something is completely stuck on a "brand new" machine 'cause it was humid on the day it was manufactured several years earlier. Spare parts, and climate control, and... On the flip side, they are small enough that you can store them inside a bag with desiccant.

Did you have a model in mind? Money is no object. I can print it later.

I am learing how to etch my own PCBs at home. Process is simplish, I can help you with the workflow if you really want to do it.

1. Paint copper clad blank FR-1 or FR-4
2: Burn off layer of paint with a negatve raster, leaving actual traces and pads covered.
3. Leave board in an acid bath for 2-3 hours to dissolve the exposed copper.

Yes, you can also use an endmill.

Also the 3D printer market is saturated right now. Bambu Labs is trying to unload their P1S/P1D, same for BIQU makes, these are prosumer oriented printers that can do *ahem* Oriental Art Work.
