@caekislove @Xenophon On a clock-for-clock basis, there is no major speed difference between DDR3, DDR4 & DDR5.
Each revision increased the burst transfer length (allowing for a slightly higher throughput) and reduced the voltage and feature size of the physical chips (allowing pushing higher clocks for the same amount of power, or the same clocks for less power).
Most computers would perform more or less identically with DDR3 RAM.
