Anyways the roads in my area are completely frozen with a thick layer of ice and not driveable.
And like true Dutch people they are now ice skating on them instead.

2It's also extremely quiet outside. Shops are closed, no schools, everyone works from home if they can. No mail delivery either.
Rain that turns into ice is actually a lot more crippling than a large amount of snowfall.
