I've tested Claude Code some more and I hope it makes software engineering also basically free. Hold all the comments about quality please and look at the software we are expected to pay for.
Writing code IS mostly a chore so if you could do away with that mostly that would be cool. Maybe computing goes back to the reearch stage if nobody cares about the "hot new web framework".
They could then invent a way to actually make interesting programs without 100x the boilerplate for every actual function.
