preliminary conclusion of my Claude tests:
Pro plan practically unusable for vibe-coding in pre-existing codebases. I have burned 60% of my weekly token limit by hitting the 5hour limit a few times. And let me tell you that GOES QUICK!

I am using it for webshit because I have no interest in doing that myself and I wanted to adapt a preexisting tool to my needs and it's been an interesting learning experience to see how long it takes to explore the codebase and get anything done and the absolutely INSANE token churn that happens when Opus does that.

the results look okay to me. Idk how "good js" is supposed to look, if there even is such a thing...

I have been supplementing claude opus with opencode zen (hook yourself up, there's a bunch of free models. Literally free. No token limits I've hit, at least)
I use the model "Big Pickle" :bigpig:

No fucking clue if the code quality is abysmal compared to opus, either. That's because I'm both unfamiliar with the codebase, the tooling, AND vibecoding. Pretty confident I'd have something workable by now if I had started from scratch and just described what I wanted.
