It's crazy you can't say there are genetic group differences between White and black people, but rich people are pouring money into donor babies. Genetically engineered super babies are around the corner.

It's just the dishonesty.

@WandererUber For sure, for sure, but it's going to create power imbalances, and really formalize a lot of things that have been implicit.
Genes have always had an effect on success, but imagine trying to break out of the permanent underclass when money = IQ and strength for your offspring. There's a very Landian element to it too, where you expose the human genome to the pressure of techno-capital, which could be very dystopic, and very permanent too.
@Griffith idk bro that's probably just gonna shake out. Not too worried.

>imagine trying to break out of the permanent underclass when money = IQ and strength for your offspring.
This is good and it has always been the case. People who are smart and strong rise to the top, except in the Jewish West, where an ethnic cabal (full of a bunch of smart schemers, to be fair) has made this illegal and explicitly advocates for the opposite
@WandererUber I don't want to spell out the worst case scenarios but imagine some scumbag lunatic ethnic scammer makes a couple bil (Vivek) and then spends a cool $100 million to pump out a 200IQ baby.
That's sort of the problem. At that point, it wouldn't matter if you have to rob grandmas and hospitals to get the money, it's worth it, because the leap up is going to be so extreme.
@Griffith I'm more worried about all the goodie-two-shoes whites that won't do that because they are propagandized to think eugenics is evil.

I don't want to spell out the worst case scenarios but imagine some scumbag lunatic ethnic scammers move into the West and breed on welfare until we are left with a brownoid sludge mass and 3000 years of revers Flynn effect until we are back in the stone age
@WandererUber It's like the actual AI singularity fears because humans are a lot smarter and able to grow a lot further exponentially than deep learning models are.
I think we've sort of gotten to a point where AI is clearly powerful, but not on a singularity trajectory. This could put us there.
Breeding a 200IQ baby that makes a new process to make a 300IQ baby sounds a lot more realistic than ChatGPT making itself smarter, at this point.
