@WandererUber almost bought a tiny home instead of a real house to not go into debt TOO hard but ironically the german bureaucracy made it easier to buy a house...
@teto what the fuck dude
@WandererUber anything that is "too new" for boomers to comprehend is treated like this. The internet and tech as a whole included. Tiny homes got "designated" areas that look like camping van parks and because it's so limited in space you have to wait YEARS to ever get a message back for a CHANCE to live in a tiny house there. "Normal houses" can obviously by built anywhere. And I couldnt wait years because I was expecting the economy to crash very soon (it did)
@teto I definitely need to settle down somewhere with super low population density in the end, have so much land that it's a total hassle to get to me
@WandererUber imagine an entire country run by "back in my day" boomers who still scoff at computers as expensive toys. Thats germany.
@teto if these were cheap it wouldn't be too bad, but living out in a new development, not having much space, AND a tiny plot of land is total garbage dude
leave it to the government to ruin every single good idea until it's worthless

@WandererUber I mean... germany is tiny in comparison to the USA. I understand why space is very regulated here. Me owning almost 300m2 of land basically makes me a king among single german dudes born in the 90s.
@WandererUber I say "owning" but if I dont pay the property taxes the gov will take it away...
