I'm okay with it because he never goes so far as to use the word "I". You can say "This is what's gonna be needed" without saying "Watch as I pull out my 12 pound eggplant"... The cat-girl schtick also kind of defuses the tenancy toward toughguyism.

But then I'm not religious, so I have no predisposition to take offense at his jabs against Christianity.

It's not the jabs at Christianity as much as it is just the fact that he's another soulless take seller complaining about the enemy while sucking on the teat that he proclaims to hate. There is nothing this guy is saying that hasn't been said a thousand times before by smarter people who have never been granted revenue sharing. I just despise grifters.

Maybe it has been, but it never got to my desk - so he's worth something even if only as an aggregator.

20 years ago I was listening to Alex Jones, and I'm sure nothing he said wasn't said by someone smarter than him, but he was the one bringing it to my radio so it was providing value.

Generally speaking though, I'm quite biased in favor of anyone who is moving the needle in the right direction - at all - and against in-fighting and bucket-crabbing, because it's been shown that these are the actual risks.
@matty @cjd @jb I've been thinking about your take for a couple days; my take has drifted towards burning our enemies alive, which I'm very serious about, and yet here we are: number of jews Brady has immolated remains firmly at zero.

I think you're right, but my account is basically hyperbolic overreaction. The emotional "feel" of what should be done, soon, ryenao if possible...

...and that's just one of the takes of my account, most of the rest being off-the-cuff witticisms and through-their-own-eyes self-mockery of the self-righteous something-doers.

This is a broad topic but anymore and it hits tl;dr, gonna hafta quoast
I think people misunderstand my position. I fully believe these people need to die and, although I want to first try a diplomatic approach with the other problems we face, those who have knowingly and willingly sold us and our countrymen to poverty and destitution deserve nothing less than to be put to the sword.

But we are some ways off from that. I'd rather build now to grow our numbers while trying to help our own people better themselves in every way I can. People who do nothing but talk about how "we gotta" do violence right now, or espouse other breathless platitudes, are weak and effeminate, useless parasites. They exist to gain from the system they claim to hate. As long as they get upcummies, the revolution ™️ can wait.

I consider those people my enemies as well.

We don't need a new sect. We just need people to fuckin read the Bible and see that God is a man of war, not some hippy faggot. The most ironic part is that larpagans fantasizing about dying on the battlefield fail to understand that's literally what Christ did. Christ sacrificed Himself for US. He died on the battlefield and won the war by Himself.

The problem is that everything is so complex and interconnected that you can't evaluate a policy without having seen it work in the real world. Everybody thinks they can reason out how to do good governance, and everybody keeps on adopting policies which might seem fairly reasonable at the moment, but a few decades or a century later are proven to be positively ruinous.

One of the best run countries in the world is Singapore, and they were the exact opposite of "clever", they just only copied policies from places like Switzerland which was already doing well...

Off topic but picrel just blows my mind...
@matty @jb @cjd We're having an effect, just by talking.

You couldn't know this but I had some family problems a few months ago and my routine broke down; I got soft and sloppy.

And I was literally thinking at one point about how hard you worked to make yourself better despite adversity, and was shaming myself for getting soft. "Matty would be disappointed if he saw you."

It's little things like that. Hyperbolic overreaction is my thing, but I also make people laugh. I found out yesterday my boomerpoast rants are being copied over to instagram.

We may think sometimes that we're not having an effect, but things are changing. We're helping to make that change.
Concur. I'm dealing with exactly such an issue right now. I had a VA therapist tell me yesterday that "the only legitimate forms of PTSD are 1) combat/being shot, 2) physical assault 3 being raped". Seriously. Just like that. Would not budge.

So, rather than experience despair as I try to work through the rubble that is my life, I am going to make him famous.

I don't think vulnerability is antithetical to being a man. Being courageous doesn't mean abcense of fear. It means doing what you must in spite of it. Those are your convictions. But, I'm happy that you pulled yourself up. It's very humbling :yotsuba_bow:

@NoDoxGregBrady @matty @jb @cjd There's something to be said about that.

One thing I've noticed going back to my Blab days was that conversations on these sites bleeds out to the rest of the world. Ideas and catch phrases from these spaces keep gaining traction in normie land.

That's only going to increase as woke/DEI fatigue ramps up, and dissident Right ideas gain in appeal.
