My extended family live all around Missouri and Michigan but out here my family owns a lot of land and it's not the city hellscape of Chicago, plus you can do a lot with farming, and guns, and riding all terrain vehicles. There's a lot of space to do whatever you want, even though I caught flak from local PD for having a bonfire in the backyard.
