Wanderer atop the sea of clouds or whatever

I like a lot of Valve games but have never understood what supposedly makes half-life 2 (1987) so good. For the thirty years since its release, niggas were out there complaining about AAA games and then they turned around and say the most linear, epic quirk chungus cutscene, drawn out, anti-skill, gimmick shooter is the best thing since sliced bread
I really do not fucking get it

It did feel very cool on release.
However I recently played the completed remake of Black Mesa, and then Half Life 2. And, well, Half Life 2 did not age well xD

HL2, is like a grindy tech demo, with a super shitty story.

Going forward I wont be recommending it, and instead recommending the Black Mesa remake.
