@HurricaneWeasel Why? It means that all the people that don't know what they're doing have removed themselves.
@m0xEE @HurricaneWeasel Until XP, the control-alt-delete worked better. I think it's windows-R now, I don't know what they use on Macs.

I set this mac up so plan9 starts in qemu.

@ins0mniak @HurricaneWeasel @m0xEE @sysrq When I had to use one for work, I just set up drawterm and talked to the regular Plan 9 machine.
...Then the fuckin' terrible, like, "retina" shit started attacking and I had to make a giant font.

@p @HurricaneWeasel @m0xEE @sysrq I got one of the brand new ones. Im kind of surprised I like it as much as I do. A few weird issues like that but meh.
Im streamlining everything. So I got all the arm stuff and my H3+ desktop with the mac as a daily use laptop.
Im setting up a local Tahoe-lafs grid with some ipfs action. Things were going full lain cable madness in my apartment.

Nice. I'm basically on the Rock5b SBC as a desktop machine and DevTerm for portable setup. My regular desktop is in the server cabinet for now.

Oh, nice. I basically gave up on IPFS after trying to wire it to Revolver completely fucked Revolver, like, seriously, 100x performance degradation over just regular Revolver P2P stuff, and that is measured against the P2P stuff that I threw away because it was too slow.
I think you weren't around when I was talking about the JS client (was discussing with i and vii) but it works: https://media.freespeechextremist.com/fucko.html?id=4bff5ef9673c38310a83f10213e986144c4a400f397a0bcd56854a80a42e27e4 . The JS is slow as hell because I'm not good at JS (and also because the setup is slow until I finish with the new P2P code because it's up and down through the pipes, but most of the time is spent in JS reassembling the blob), but concept actually proofed, you actually can do the whole assembly client-side without running a local peer. Open up the network tab and watch it assemble all that shit one 8kB block at a time.

I don't see a problem with this.
