@phnt @epsi @nigger @p @prettygood @zer0unplanned I hardly hear about it much these days....tho if you take any advanced computer stuff in high school its still all Java.

In my world I just don't ever encounter it much anymore. The White House put out a directive trying to steer people into rust because its "muh memory safe" so everyone in the orbit of the government is using it but if you do anything private sector, which is where smart people end up anyway, it's mostly Go and such.

For example Capitol One, which is a huge bank cant hire go programmers fast enough. Its also great with AWS which is a huge thing here as well.
