I mean, I mentioned as:Public over in https://blog.freespeechextremist.com/blog/about-fedilist.html#Fedi_Eats_Itself . From my perspective, like, being a person on fedi and making a tool intended to help fedi is a very different thing from outside "researchers" exploiting fedi to have something to publish or to get Congress to tamp down on "extremist rhetoric and misinformation" or whatever.
