GNU/Gimp is such an amazing piece of software that when trying to navigate to my shitpost folder with 4K+ files, or typing a filename into the filename bar when in that folder, it has seconds of delay. Filename autocomplete is especially bad.

Death to GNU and Gtk.

@phnt i’m going to guess you’re using an ssd, because on hdd it’s tens of seconds for a few hundred files. other file pickers can enumerate thousands of files within a few frames (some within a single frame), and they also have previews, there’s literally no excuse for gnu software being so shit.
