@p That was a misconfiguration. It was mad about naming things. Now It's configured but I'm still seeing quotes come through (I think)
@p Unless I'm wrong about what I should expect to see, if I quote you on my instance, it should get filtered by dsmc and their frontend won't render it as a quote, but it renders as attached
@pwm The MRF doesn't *remove* the quote-post metadata so this is as expected.
@p What then does this cause to happen? the same post gets rendered twice in the timeline? once as a quote, once as a reply?
@pwm Well, on FSE, which doesn't do the quote-post horseshit anyway, it makes it a reply but if you load the thread, it doesn't show in the thread.
