@sun Back in the day, Heavy Metal, D&D, and… day care centers, were all considered tools of Satan. While Metal and TTRPGs were largely spared the legal attack, far too many innocent people who just ran day care centers had their lives destroyed and spend decades, in some cases, in prison for crimes they didn't commit.

I could point you to some amazingly batshit "Satanic Panic" videos from way back then, if you dare.

@LoliHat I generally know about that I just wasn't sure if you mean it was actually real or not, some people still think it was real. I did a deep dive on it years ago and concluded it was all nonsense. there are hundreds of videos on youtube about the finders cult that are completely full of shit, the truth is actually boring.

@sun The Satanic Panic stuff was largely about griifters grifting people, but quite a few were true believers.

@sun Every pizza gate word was probaly real, they thought they could get away with it(and honestly half right, even now no one is being charged), some q details may have been planted by controlled opposition and reality was no where near complex as anyone wouldve thought

@monkyyy @sun Qanon was mossad's attempt to delegitimize the pizzagate stuff. Pizzagate came first, Qanon was the first and very immediate attempt to discredit it (Israel used one of their biggest assets, 4chan, to keep an eye on stuff they needed to damage control for).
