I knew my dad was hopelessly wicked by the way he always smashed up the ramen noodles before cooking them

@KingOfWhiteAmerica I used to split the brick into 8 pieces. idk why. I think it helped when cooking in microwave because they wouldn't poke out of the water as much

@scenesbycolleen @KingOfWhiteAmerica My mom makes this "chinese coleslaw" (probably not chinese at all) which includes ramen pieces as part of the flavor. It's pretty good and edible unlike normal coleslaw.

The ramen part of the recipe calls for crushing up the noodles into small pieces. She'd have me whack the ramen package with a mallet while she did other stuff lol

"normal" coleslaw is good if you make it yourself
