The real hysteria is coming from people beginning to understand all at once how isolated they are, and how very little of reality they can confirm for themselves. The high end of the IQ scale is unreliable. It's fairly easy to tell if someone is retarded, but it's hard to construct a test that will differentiate between a genius and a Rainman type idiot-savant. Guess which one there's a lot more of 😏

I know my IQ and, while it's above average, it's nowhere near genius. at any rate I'm good-looking so I've never needed to be smart. lol.
