@Evil_Bender @Terry Our went up to $3.29 (about .50) the very next day after the Iranians closed the Strait of Hormuz. The corporations that own these stores jump at the opportunity to raise prices way before there of any scarcity. 😡
@Thusnelda @Evil_Bender @Terry I agree with the sentiment but gas stations have to immediately increase prices as every gallon sold from that point on will cost more to replenish. The real joke is that as north america gets only a small percentage of our oil from the middle east we aren't even affected by this shortage. But crude is a globally traded commodity so our prices are tied to global prices.
