Right but I mean they're just not gonna try here.

I think the world is going to conclude that it's better to keep propping up Israel than let the religious fanatical subset of Jews spill out into other countries. It's kind of the same logic as Ukraine. Europe will do anything to keep Ukraine functioning because having Azov spill out across Europe is unthinkable.
Russia and China would like to entangle the US into something they can't win and can't afford to lose, so I expect they will find the necessary economic pressure points to make that happen.

But then when the US does lose, I think they will flip and support Israel just enough that it doesn't cease to exist, because nobody (geopolitically significant) really wants it gone.
You're thinking like an individual, but what controls geopolitical decision making is thinking like a strategist.

For Europe, China, and Russia, Israel does three things:
1. Provides a counter-balance against the possible rise of a Muslim empire in the middle east which would otherwise control oil and tax global trade through the Suez
2. Creates a pressure point which can be used to control/influence the Jewish diaspora
3. Offers an adventure for Jewish religious zealots which is conveniently located far away from everyone else
Ehh, it's geopolitics, everyone is interconnected. Russia & China have a million ways to help or hurt the Iranian government. Everyone can create pressure or make incentives if they want something.

The reason why this war is dumb is because the US has already given up most of its leverage (40 years of sanctions), AND, Russia and China are all too happy to prop up Iran for as long as it takes in order to sink the US.

US is going to tap out - and probably have a civil war to reset it's own internal situation.

That leaves a question: What's the middle east gonna look like?

Relevant actors are Russia, China, and Europe - since the US is gonna be licking its wounds for a while.
