We don't have those type of laws here. I recall there are other protections in the EU and Canada. I can't remember what they are offhand though. I don't run across them often.

3I think it's kind of a parallel to false light defamation, as you mentioned. In any case, even if there's no explicit law, enough angry people are a law until themselves, and Meta will have to back down - and just mix 2 or 3 together instead of using one specific one...
And that's real issue.

Once it's in the sorta-kinda category, IMO they're safe. When it's the "friends will think you acted in it" category, they're in danger...
