@SuperDicq @Jes teamspeak can expose your ip to other clients in a couple different ways if not properly configured, this is probably what they are thinking of. fear of this tracks back to before windows computers had integrated firewall. in the 1990s I worked for a government infrastructure program and every pc with internet was a windows box with a publicly routable ip and no firewall at all.

@Jes @SuperDicq yeah you're right, I think most peoples knowledge of computers is not very structured it's just a collection of facts so they hear teamspeak leaks your ip and they think its leaked to the server or something haha.
