4@lain It is good! Because it might lead to people choosing self-hosted open source alernatives instead of centralized corporate solutions with built in surveillance.
@phnt @p @lain This is not so interesting. I am not a fan of the matrix project. If I needed a chat, I'd go with irc which you can run on a raspberry pi at home.
If you need to cater to young people, maybe mattermost might give them that sweet web 3.0 feeling?
Generally though, anything that primarily relies on a web interface is not so good.
