@Waldbrand @roland I wanna say I was 13 or so when they came out? Idr. I had a buddy that didn't like XY, and when I finally had a chance to play it I was finally "too old for pokeemon"

@Waldbrand @Racist_Columbo @roland They were the last non-remake mainline pokemon games I played, and I actually enjoyed it very much, but they clearly butchered the release by not having a "final" Z game, which was pretty clearly planned.

The "pokemon as weapons of war" lore was pretty good and answers a long-held question about whether the world of pokemon was always near-utopic.
